Does anyone else think Brett Favre is causing all this commotion intentionally?

Having obviously not gotten enough attention as a child, Brett Favre, instead of telling the Vikings ownership and staff that he is retiring, sent a few text messages to some teammates. Meanwhile, he sent a text message to Steve Mariucci saying that he hasn't made up his mind yet and a family source told a newspaper located near Favre's house he also hasn't made up his mind. Do you think Favre is just playing with everyone in the hope that he will get more attention?
