Am I a bad person for thinking this way?

I've got to say, I entirely agree with what you're talking about. I wouldn't whatsoever say you are bad for thinking this, however, many people do. Until it stops becoming inappropriate for thinking this, then many people will hate the thoughts we have and consider us bad people. Therefore, I choose not to publish my views on this, and will not until the general views of at least some academics change and make theirs public.
