What can I do in this situation?

I graduated with a Master's degree from France in Electrical Engineering major automation and control in 2006. I came to the US as a permanent resident, worked as a computer programmer for a year, then as instrumentation and control engineer for a year a couple months. I was laid off and collected unemployment for a while. I worked at Dunkin Donuts for couple months, then I found a part time job at best buy that pays me half what I used to collect. I worked there for almost two years. I was always looking for a job, had some interviews but with no success. I felt a big desperation and lost lot of confidence of my skills and my career life. I just got fired from best buy for inappropriate conduct. I don't have any job now! What should I do? Can I collect unemployment? what are the easiest jobs to find? Please advice. Thank you!
