I like this guy that likes me back?

Theres this total cutie in my homeroom, and we are non stop flirting 24/7. I know he likes me back he gives me obvious hints, but recently rumors have been floating around that he likes one of my friends. No one outside my best friend knows that I like him, even though I make it obvious to him that I like him. Is he doing this just to make me jealous or something?
