2001 mitsubishi eclipse wont start back up?
This car was running good, then suddenly stopped. And it will not crank back up. I think it may be the timing belt, or somethign with the ignition. I took the oik cap off and turned the engine over I didnt see the cam or nothing moving inside of there. But the belt looks to be on, i havent took the cover off but i felt it with my hand, it looks to be on but im not sure. It acts like it wants to start somewhat but not really. I think thinking it was either the timing belt or fuel pump or somethign with the ignition. Whats the easist way to tell it is the fuel pump and timing belt? Could i use a compression tester to tell if the timing belt is bad? And how to I tell if the fuel pump is bad.
