Da Vinci Code?

Why are so many Christians, Catholics mainly, so pissed off about "Da Vinci Code". Jesus though great was still a man. he was a person of love, who spread the message of love, respect and honor. Why then is it blasphemy(to insult) to think he could have been in love with Mary and have had a child?
